Starcomms Launches Toolbar

As the telecoms war (to grab more customers) continues in Nigeria, Starcomms has just added yet another tool that helps customers to quickly and easily access the important information on Starcomms while surfing on the internet.
Starcomms Plc is one of Nigeria’s leading CDMA networks with over 2 million mobile subscribers. They have launched a new tool called Starcomms Community Toolbar powered by Conduit and the search tool by Google.

Starcomms Toolbar is an interactive panel that can assist you in real time with activities about Starcomms such as current hot offers, links to Starcomms Investor Relations website, message board to receive updates on events/launches and a quick link for Starcomms Data subscription service renewals.
According to Maher Qubain, CEO of Starcomms, he said: “Our new interactive toolbar is the latest exciting development from Starcomms. This continues to be another way that customers can interact and learn about the new updates with their favourite network”.
With this new tool, Starcomms has combined the best interactivity of the Web with the highest-quality surfing experience in the marketplace. The toolbar is compatible with Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer browsers.
I think that Starcomms is actually tapping into the potentials of new web technologies such as RSS feeds with this new tool. It would be a great experience for their subscribers as well as website visitors to find things easily.
It’s cool. You can download yours too.
