I agree, which makes No. 3 to 5 very critical factors. In fact they should be No. 1 on that list, except that power and infrastructure pose the major challenge in Nigeria.

While location is very important to any start-ups, I believe access to quality "knowledge bank" is much more important. So, I believe that a start-up hub should placed in location that is easily accessible by the University community and the VC community.

Great piece. It is becoming clearer that we cannot afford to wait for the Nigerian Government to get its act together. We need to start actively thinking about what individuals can do to move the country forward.
