According to Financial Times, Facebook is reportedly working on displaying ads on its apps for Android, iPad and iPhone devices as early as March 2012. The ads may appear as featured stories in the mobile news feed. If this is true, Facebook could be looking to gain an additional source of revenue before it goes public. [via: Mashable]

!!! Mobile caieonmps are promoting facebook more than orkut or any other apps for that matter. Google need to seriously think something so that others can use it and as you have pointed out, it have to open the contents for the search engines.Hope google lab is cooking something!!
