Today is Techcrunch Lagos Meetup at Debonairs
Earlier this week, I announced that Lagos will be celebrating five years of tech/web trends as part of Techcrunch’s 5th Anniversary with the rest of the world. So far, over 350 meetups in 80 countries have been planned from Bangalore and Jakarta to Johannesburg and Berlin.
I’m happy to announce that the Lagos Techcrunch Meetup will hold at Debonairs Pizza, 44a Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island at 6pm today. (See directions via Google Maps)
Debonairs has an impressive range of pizzas. Prices start at N750 for a 6 slice vegetarian Margerita and for a fully loaded version with all the toppings, expect to pay around N1,500 or more.
We’ll be sharing our experiences around technology over the past 5 years – the challenges and successes – as well as a look at what to expect in the next 5 years.
There’ll be different perspectives as to what kinds of technology startups will create the most wealth over the next five years. We’ll be live-tweeting, live-blogging and live-videoing, so bring along your iPads, cameras, camcorders, etc.
Photos and videos will be posted via Flickr, Facebook, Twitpic and Youtube and the general hashtag #tcmeetup will be used.
See you all there!
