It seems you can now find out about breaking news and the latest and top stories of the last 24 hours from all states of Nigeria, as NTA Live Webcast, a ‘Free to watch’ service has been launched.
To watch, according to the page, you will be asked to fill out one or two advertising offers in order to gain unrestricted access which are usually very short surveys that takes less than 10 seconds to complete and absolutely free to participate.

However, when you click to watch you’ll find a message like this:
Sorry, There are no surveys available to your country at this time. Please try back later
I think that the service is still being tested as most of the pages cannot be accessed. There is also a Twitter page just started (with 5 tweets) which is following about 600 people, with only about 50 followers.
Now I’m not sure that this service is owned, managed and operated by the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), but I’ll be watching this new service to see any new developments.

hi lincoln, sorry didn’t get your email.
oddly enough I was there today and it gave me some questions which I refused to answer.
I understand that the admin(s) is supporting the service via advertising, as he/she clearly stated at the site, however, there are much better ways to make advertising money that force viewers to click on things in this day and age, no? Well, I wish the site the best and will definitely return when its easier to use as I need NTA. My satellite provider doesn't provide it, unfortunately.
BTW, I sent the twitter page some questions as well.
Loy, how are you?
Doing great!

Is it a big problem to answer 3-4 lines of survey in order to access a free service?
