What a great post!

One thing you failed to chip in is the fact that many Nigerians are now into real internet businesses like Adsense, Affiliate Marketing and info marketing.

These businesses does not necessarily need a popular blog or something. It even requires one to remain anonymous for some reasons.

I really love all these ideas. I believe it is time for Nigerians to create their own brands unique to our culture. As far as a social networking site and one that will turn into a site for educational purposes. The website I run does these things. (www.thenigerianeagle.com ). We are still in the beginning stages but with time we will evolve.

This is a great post, thanks for sharing. You have some interesting and well thought ideas. As I reviewed your list it occurred to me that African identity is being lost because of the influence of sites like Youtube. Sure you can watch African videos there, but how much more meaningful would if be if there was a site which imposed African culture on the world instead of the other way round? Nice.

A bit surprised that you didn't list the heathcare sector in a Nigeria as a possible source of ideas for business. Particularly in regard to private hospitals etc…
